From long-term unemployed to a supervisor managing a team in a popular op-shop, Donna Nicolle-Foley has come a long way.
Ms Nicolle-Foley had been unemployed for many years when she approached Jobfind as a shy and unconfident jobseeker. That was 2009.
In 2012 she began work experience at the Lifeline shop at Spreyton.
After finishing her initial placement, Ms Nicolle-Foley came back as a volunteer worker at the store and undertook various Ready4Work and LearnNow modules to further develop her skills and knowledge of the retail industry.
While volunteering, and searching for paid work, a position became available at the shop and because of her detailed and well-presented CV and her previous enthusiasm, she gained her first interview in more than a decade.
She is now a supervisor and working 20 hours a week.
