After a comprehensive process over several months, we are delighted to announce the new Angus Knight Group (AKG) CEO is Nicolas (Nic) Fairbank. Nic will be commencing with Angus Knight on the 25th of July.
Nic joins AKG from Programmed/PERSOLKELLY, where he was the Chief Executive Officer. Leading one of the largest Staffing and Maintenance businesses in Australia, deploying and skilling more than twenty-five thousand employees across Australia and New Zealand.
Nic has a history of developing strong business relationships and effective market engagement strategies. He has demonstrated experience in implementing change initiatives, and providing the governance necessary to drive sustainable outcomes, plus leading multiple acquisitions and successful systems, process and cultural integrations.
Nic is a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and gender equality, significantly improving indigenous engagement and representation.

The coming financial year is the start of the next chapter of growth and opportunity for the Angus Knight Group, the 100% Australian-owned employment, training and community business. AKG has 12 new Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) contracts just commenced (4th July) as well as new business opportunities in the UK, Sweden and Canada.

AKG Group CEO and Board Chair, Michael Hobday, retired after a long and distinguished career in Commonwealth and State public services and leading several very successful Employment Services organisations, including Angus Knight on 24th June 2022.
Anthony Parsons will act as Group CEO until Mr Fairbank starts on 25th July 2022.
