Jobfind is pleased to announce our ‘All I want for Christmas’ campaign.
The campaign’s aim is to give as many of our job seekers the present they really want in time for Christmas – a job!
As a Jobs Services Australia (JSA) provider, our focus is to place job seekers into meaningful employment – and keep them employed – all year around. However, with Christmas right around the corner, we are keen to ensure as many of our job seekers as possible find work, to help alleviate the financial and emotional burden that often comes along with the holidays.
To make the Christmas wishes of our job seekers come true, Jobfind is reaching out to local employers to register their vacancies with Jobfind and access our recruitment services to match suitable candidates to their roles.
We are also urging employers to take part in our local placement days across our Jobfind centres during the month of December. The days offer employers a chance to interact with a large group of job seekers and offer interviews during the event to candidates they think are suitable for their vacancies.
Jobfind staff have ramped up job seeker activities in preparation for the campaign, by updating job seeker resumes, building their interview skills and refining their life skills such as time management and personal presentation. Some job seekers have also undertaken industry-specific training or upskilling courses, in response to local industry demand, to get them ready to enter the workforce.

By interacting with our job seekers in person, employers can find out not only about their skills but also gain a holistic view of whether a job seeker is truly the perfect match for their vacancy, which at the end of the day is exactly what all employers are looking to achieve” says Employment Services General Manager, Tracey Jackson.
