Jobfind, a business of the Angus Knight Group, has recently announced its partnership with iGym 247, Solid 101, and the Hunter Youth and Training Services (HYTS) in the Hunter region of NSW. The partnership is working to motivate and engage youth in finding meaningful employment. The program looks beyond traditional training methods, instead tailoring an employment solution that holistically prepares participants for work in mind and body. The program offers Jobfind’s registered job seekers in the Hunter region, a blend of certified vocational training of their choice, personal mentoring, coaching and access to a contract-free 30 day gym membership for $30.
To celebrate the partnership:
Jobfind Wallsend will host an open day on Tuesday, September 24 from 10:00 am till 12 noon located on the Ground Floor of the Summaland Centre.
Jobfind Kurri Kurri will host an open day on Thursday September 26 from 10:00 am till 12 noon in the Business Enterprise Centre, Cnr Barton and Merthyr Streets.
These open days will offer more information on vocational training opportunities including the Certificate III in Fitness, delivered by ex-NRL player Mark McGaw, of the McGaw Institute of Sport Science, along with non-vocational programs such as ‘Breaking the Mould’ and Solid 101. These programs have proven effective in assisting job seekers in the Hunter Region to secure work experience and positive employment outcomes in facilities like iGym 247. Ambassador for the program Mark Hutton, previous Australian Middle Weight ‘Total Fighting’ Champion and Pan Pacific Jujitsu Champion, will be on hand to answer questions about Solid 101.
