Despite a history of working in the mines in Pathways to the Pilbara and then as a Reach Out Officer with Real Futures, Uncle Tolly was finding it hard to get work.
The team at Real Futures knew he would be a great asset for any company, so spent some time with him, helping him overcome a few barriers.
When we asked Regional Renewables to give him a go, they did, and now Uncle Tolly is working full-time as a medium-rigid truck driver.
Uncle Tolly is a well-known and respected man in his community, always helping the young fellas. So it’s no surprise that in his new job at Regional Renewables, Uncle Tolly is helping on site, too, working with his Mob (nephews and other family), mentoring the younger men to promote a positive work environment.
A great worker
