Our workplaces each have their own identity, but we share the same drive and determination for success – for others, ourselves, our clients, our communities and for the business.

AKG is a Great Place to Work
In October 2022 we conducted the first of our annual Great Place to Work surveys and were delighted to be #GPTWcertified by our staff. We continue to consult regularly with our staff and this process allows us to see areas where we could improve and helps us develop roadmaps to increase employee satisfaction.
Our score has grown year on year as we continue our commitment to an engaging and inclusive workplace.
Gender Equity
AKG is committed to gender equity and boosting women’s participation within the workforce. AKG is well placed to drive forward gender equity, raise the percentage of women leaders within AKG and inspire others to do the same. Within our businesses we support women to train, access assistance, and get meaningful employment whatever their background and life experiences.
The Real Futures Women’s Business Second Chance Hub is our specialist First Nations service in Western Sydney, Kempsey and Carnarvon, that provides culturally safe, women’s only spaces and helps women overcome gender-based barriers to education and employment; creating scalable learning and employment pathways. This service is supported by UN Women, the BHP Foundation and the Angus Knight Foundation.
AKG has been a big part of my life for the last nine years. I love working for AKG because we just do it better than anyone else! I’m proud of AKG’s contributions to the communities in which we deliver services.

Valuing diversity
We believe strongly that diversity creates better, more innovative workplaces, and we are proud of the AKG track record:
Across more than 300 locations in Australia, Canada, Italy, Singapore, Sweden and the UK directly, we engage with our diverse clients in 78 languages.
Our commitment to diversity is reflected in our Reconciliation Action Plan and Indigenous Participation Plan.
Fostering leadership
One of our key goals is to develop leadership skills. In 2021 we developed a tailored program to develop leadership capability, build careers and invest in the continued growth of our teams. The program is being deployed across all businesses.
